Gua sha
This is a Traditional Chinese Medicine healing technique. In China, this type of massage is used as a household remedy. Its “scraping” technique – often done for example with a jade stone - is applied to the back and aims at breaking up stagnation (hardening), bringing it from deeper layers to the surface and dissolving it.
Indication: Frozen Shoulder, muscle tensions
Bow Tech Original Bowen Technique
The Bowen technique consists of gentle, rolling movements over a muscle or tendon, lasting only about 2 to 3 seconds. This movement triggers an impulse in the body that reminds it of its original state of relaxation. Through this relaxation in the muscular and fascial area, vertebrae, bones or joints for example may readjust to their original position.
Indication: issues with musculoskeletal system, internal organs, cardiovascular system and nervous system.
